PowerToys version 0.60 released by Microsoft

The PowerToys are Microsoft’s all-purpose weapon for all sorts of application scenarios under Windows. If you have not yet taken a look at the tools, then you should definitely catch up if you are a Windows user. All sorts of things can be done with it and here and there the productivity is increased considerably (window management, image scaling, etc.).

The developers have now released version 0.60.0. The release once again brings plenty of improvements. Both the ImageResizer and PowerRename now appear in the context menu of Windows 11, OneNote users can now access a “PowerToys Run” plugin.

The FancyZones feature now uses a new zone identification with monitor ID to increase stability and avoid zone resets. Round windows are now displayed with rounded corners in Windows 11 by AlwaysOnTop, which should improve the differentiation from other windows. You can find the new version including all changelogs directly in the PowerToys area on GitHub .
