Six Worst Quotes from the New Planned Parenthood Video

The Center for Medical Progress just released the fifth in its series of sting videos on Planned Parenthood, and the contents are the most shocking yet.  Below, I’ve compiled six of the most gruesome quotes from a video that shows the abortion giant marketing organs and, more chillingly, intact corpses:

6. “And we’ve had studies in which the company, or in the case of the investigator has a specific need for a certain portion of the products of conception.

“And we bake that into our contract, and our protocol, that we follow this, so we deviate from our standard in order to do that.  Telling you this, so then we can get creative about when and where, and under what conditions we, um, interject something that is specific to the procurement needs.”

“Interject something that is specific to procurement needs” is fancy talk for “change the operation so it’s easier to get fetal organs.” What happened to the concern for women that Planned Parenthood was emphasizing just yesterday, as its funding was on the Senate chopping block?  Prioritizing collection over the integrity of the operation isn’t just unethical, it’s probably illegal, as quote #5 emphasizes.

5. (Two doctors talking about national Planned Parenthood policy)

Doctor 1: “Remember when I first got here?  It was, ‘you have to have this form, it has to be like this.'”

Doctor 2: “And you had to have this particular consent form, it was very specific.  Yeah, no.  That’s what Kristen was saying.  They are encouraging more participation (in fetal tissue procurement), but they don’t want to get too into the mix of it.”

Doctor 1: “Any idea why the other affiliates in Texas think it’s illegal?”

Doctor 2: “Really?”

OK, am I the only one who sees something wrong with this statement?  We have two doctors discussing a sudden drop in interest from PPFA in protocol, and we have a concern from all the other affiliates in Texas that what this clinic is doing is illegal.  This begs the question, why are they still doing it?  At the very least, professionalism should dictate that they check the legality of their “collections” before continuing.  These clinic staff are failing to show even the semblance of business ethics.

4. “Because some of our doctors in the past have projects and they’re collecting the specimens, so they do it in a way that they get the best specimens, so I know it can happen.”

One of the big lies Planned Parenthood has peddled over the past few weeks is that there’s no profit in selling tissue.  If that’s the case, why are their doctors going out of their way to collect specimens for “projects.” What are these projects?  Is there money involved?  This simple sentence opens the door to a lot of uncomfortable questions about what Planned Parenthood’s staff is doing on the side.

3. Buyer: “If you can do that, and it compensates you, and financially that’s helping you to grow your clinic, I’m willing to do that.”

Doctor: “If we alter our process, and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, then we can make it part of the budget, that any dissections are this, and splitting the specimens into different shipments is this, I mean that’s, it’s all just a matter of line items.”

Want to add a profit margin to your fetal organs?  Don’t want to be accused of profiteering?  The solution is simple!  It’s just a matter of line items!  Who can say what the administrative costs for cutting, putting the organs in different boxes, etc. is?  Planned Parenthood has quite the sideline going there, and it’s found a way to keep naysayers from “proving” they’re skimming a little off the top!

2. Buyer: “And so what are they requesting, just liver. Or liver-thymus? Liver, thymus, long bone?”

Doctor: “Everything, CNS, brain, kidney, thymus, liver, spleen, femur, bone marrow, hematopoietic stem cells, from 14 to 22 weeks of gestation.”

Buyer: “See, so that’s the thing.  So for a study like that, if we could provide just a whole cadaver, and then they can take exactly what they want, with the full quality, everything.”

Doctor: “Mhm.  Take whatever they want…Oh, and I was wrong, they want 120 samples!”

Until this statement, it was hard to tell just what organs Planned Parenthood was selling.  Now, we know there are companies that want the whole enchilada.  They want them so badly, in fact, that they are ordering “intact” bodies in bulk!  Two points here: First, how does Planned Parenthood perform an abortion to ensure a fully intact body?  Partial birth abortion (illegal for over 10 years) is one of the first methods that comes to mind.  Second, just how far along does a baby have to be to have the full range of “items?”  It would have to be very late term.

1. Buyer: “Are there any fresh specimens from today that we can still look at?”

Doctor: (laughing) “We had a really long day, and they’re all mixed up together in a bag.”

There are no words to describe the callous disregard for human life required to take multiple human lives, stuff them in a bag, and then laugh about it.  The only regret the nurse expressed was that she wasn’t told 10 minutes earlier so she could have “saved something.” This is sickening on a level that I didn’t expect, even after the first four videos.  It makes this the number one quote, hands down.
