New Poll: Huckabee Most Favorable Among Conservatives

Pew Research recently released a poll of 2,002 adults aged 18 or older. Mike Huckabee was the most favorable candidate among people who considered themselves to be Conservative Republicans or at least those who considered themselves Conservative Republican leaners. However, in terms of net favorability, Marco Rubio edged out Huckabee by a relatively slim margin. The full results were as follows:

  • Mike Huckabee: 62% Favorable, 20% Unfavorable, 18% Unsure
  • Marco Rubio: 60% Favorable, 15% Unfavorable, 25% Unsure
  • Rand Paul: 58% Favorable, 22% Unfavorable, 20% Unsure
  • Scott Walker: 54% Favorable, 14% Unfavorable, 32% Unsure
  • Jeb Bush: 54% Favorable, 37% Unfavorable, 10% Unsure
  • Ted Cruz: 51% Favorable, 25% Unfavorable, 24% Unsure

When presented in terms of net favorability, the results take a slightly different shape:

  • Marco Rubio: +45 Favorability
  • Mike Huckabee: +42 Favorability
  • Scott Walker: +40 Favorability
  • Rand Paul: +36 Favorability
  • Ted Cruz: +26 Favorability
  • Jeb Bush: +17 Favorability
