Who Has the Best Chance to Win Tonight’s Debate? (VIDEO)

Well, I think that in a strange way, Trump has put himself in a period of advantage.  People think he’s falling; they think his debate performances haven’t been good.  I think that Trump understands the most important economic fact which is that the American people feel like they’re losing ground, and they’re losing ground to the policies that exist in Washington.

And I think that Trump has the ability to communicate that simply and directly.  So, I think he has an advantage there, and I think he’s not constrained by the kind of limits that traditional politicians think about — what’s reasonable and what’s not reasonable.  People don’t think Washington is reasonable.  And when Trump tells them, ‘You’re right! It’s not reasonable,’ I think he has a significant advantage.

So, I think Trump — and I’ve watched his interviews and I’ve watched his answers — and I think they resonate with the idea that middle Americans, not Wall Street, is advantaged by the current policies.  And I think Trump will press that point, and I think it’s the single biggest point to be pressed in the debate.
